心理学上说,语言最好是十三岁以前学,十三岁以后某些生理发展结束再想学发某些特定的音基本是没有什么可能了...而且随着年龄增长,记忆力和理解力都会相对发展变缓吧,十九,二十差不多到极限了


我也觉得13岁以前学的东西记得住呀。幸好我妈让我3岁的时候就学什么《瑛瑛学英语》，否则我的E文更烂。
可惜我不够努力呀，就是不喜欢背单词，语法也不喜欢，（虽然我挺喜欢英文的，就因为听着好听），虽然发音自信没问题，什么级别的英文考试都是听力最好，可是其他的就是成天被我们家LD嘲笑:mad:

對呀,有次我坐灰狗巴士中途休息時,另一台車的黑人driver,聽見我們說中文,就跑來和我們聊天,用中文. -__-

你看，我就是十三岁来，所以现在还有口音……不过据同学说是杂七杂八的口音，不仅有中国的，还有纽约和长岛的……为了这个长岛口音，念NYU的时候被一群NYC朋友笑了好几次:

"Say 'Long Island'."
"Long Island."
"Heehee, see, that's not how we Manahttan people say it. The fact you pronounce it that way means you are from Long Island."

Everyone has an accent. So people should not worry too much about how they sound.

I agree, as long as people can understand you with little difficult, you'd be fine. I am not wild about the whole "perfect American accent" thing in Chinese English education.

Exactly, perfect accent is useless if you only speak chinglish.

Not to mention I personally think American English accent is not the most attractive. I like Australia accent. They are so mellow.

I *hated* English when I moved to Canada, and I've no idea what anyone around me is saying...
But living there forced me to learn English, and eventually I get into reading English books, and this really helped
