some University doesnt require GRE for graduate admission though...
like U of M, Purdue U ...etc ..
but guess u must hit GPA 3.7/4.0 scales above to get a chance....

Yes, I think tGPA and recommendation letters are much more important than GRE scores...

Everyone is above average" :P
PS:nasnec好像也是指大學的GPA..

of cos.. it depends on what U you want to be in...
for tier 1 (top 50 in US)
normally.. u must reach 3.0 - 3.5 GPA in highschool for Bach. ... and 3.5+ for Masters....
if you study Bach and Mast at the same U.. the chances are greater... therefore.... a suggestion to all ppl...
better choose a good University (tier 2 above) to start with if you're planning to continue on Masters...

well, I'm already in what I wanted to be in :)
I stayed at the same university though....
yah, of course anyone should try to get into a good one if possible,
even if the good one is more expensive and is far away from home.

but for those that are really really top...
only those that are genius or deadly rich can enter...
say U of M for example, each credit hour cost you $1000 US...
each semester cost you $20000+ US, thus, even you got a job in campus, $7 x 20hrs cant cover much.. :(
