昨天在伦敦看到concorde的最后飞行了!!

不小心在回家的路上看到了，还是身边的女同学先发现的，只因她还是个小孩，没见过concorde，大喊：“啊！那是什么？”（估计她当时以为发现UFO了）我抬头一看，原来是一架巨大的concorde在我们前方飞过！！猛的想起来这是concorde的最后一飞，还给我们碰上了，真是走运！后来我们又看到一架，说是一共飞了三架，我们看到了其中两架，已经很不错了！

这么一说我似乎也看到了呢

来London后看到好几次了，每次都是回家的时候在Albert Hall过马路时看到的，有一次看起来就像火箭冲天直着往上飞，我一度还以为是Surrey大学在发射卫星（呵呵，好幼稚的想法）。没想到周五那天就是最后一次……

不過我聽人說這種的飛機的機師飛行經驗豐富,薪金卻比一般機師低,
通常是快打算retire的機師的last flight

The cost is high and also you have to take into account the noise issue. In continental US, supersonic airplanes are forbidden to be flown over cities, that's why all the airforce bases such as NORAD are located in the desert.

其实当年的空难只是给了英法公司有了一个摆脱这个大包袱的机会。高技术平台的灾难造成的严重损失，更要看到任何技术的进步都需要勇敢精神的推动。

不过倒让我想起了当年一艘艘豪华邮轮的命运。
