大致上是这个意思:
Boys of Midoriyama (all 2nd year):
Doubles 2: Takase Masato & Kitamura Wataru
Doubles 1: Minamoto Takuma & Habu Itto
Singles 3: Kiraku Yasuyuki
Singles 2: Kongawa Junpei
Singles 1: Tsuta Akane
The next round of the Kantou Tournament has begun, it's Midoriyama
Jr. High versus Seigaku. Outside the courts, Inoue and Shiba notice
3 people observing the game, they are the Midoriyama Jr. High team's
special coaching team. One of them is the son of the Japan Open 4-
time consecutive champion Kiraku Taizou. No wonder Midoriyama's form
have been so good...
Time to start. Oishi asks the Seigaku supporters to cheer for the
players (hehe, even Echizen has the "Seigaku Must Win!" head band
tied around his cap XD). On the court, Inui and Kaidoh are up first,
but the two Midoriyama boys ignore them without shaking their hands,
walking to the base line chatting to each other. Kaidoh takes
offense but Inui tells him to forget it.
Preparing to serve, Inui tells Kaidoh they will start their attack
from the opening ball. Kaidoh says, ".....right." Inui serves a
super fast ball, it smacks the ground right between the Midoriyama
player's legs (I think this is Kitamura), the score is 15-0. He
says the ball is too fast to see, but his partner, Takase, says that
it's not that fast compared to Coach Kiraku's.
Inui serves again, and this time, Takase returns it, Kiadoh catches
up without a problem and returns the ball near the Midoriyama base
line, the score is 30-0. Inui serves again, 40-0. The Seigaku
supporters go wild, clamouring for the last point to clinch the
first game.
Inui serves his super fast ball for the last point, and this time,
Kitamura crosses his arm and doesn't move, watching the ball as it
bounces past, completely uninterested. Inui and Kaidoh are startled
by his behaviour, Kaidoh demands to know what Kitamura is doing,
even as the umpire announces Seigaku winning the first game.
Kitamura throws back, "What? Can't I do that? I'm not going to
bother with unnecessary movements." He continues to say that from
this 40-0 score, it's not impossible for them to regain the next
five points easily in the next game.
Outside, Shiba is surprised at the behaviour of the Midoriyama team,
how can they simply throw a game away? Inoue says that in pro
tournaments, it's not unsual for this sort of tactics since you can
conserve energy for the next game, but Shiba still thinks it feels
weird that these junior high boys think like adults. Inoue has a
sudden realisation, he says they don't just *think* like adults...
In the game, the score with Midoriyama serving has advanced to 30-0,
Seigaku hasn't scored yet! One more return from Kitamura, 40-0. He
serves now, and Kaidoh returns the ball. Takase comments that such
reckless perseverance is useless, haven't they (Seigaku) realised?
He returns the ball again, and Takase says, "How stubborn." Kaidoh
is unable to reach the ball, the game is won by Midoriyama.
Kitamura remarks that like he said, there's no need for this uselss
running about or such perseverance. But, Takase looks a little
impressed and contradicts his partner, he says that that guy
(Kaidoh) doesn't look the least winded. Kaidoh turns around, facing
them and says, "Perseverance? Do I look it?"
Caption: That's right, Kaidoh Kaoru's perseverance doesn't stop
there!!
