Are there a way to see Chinese in MIRC

I am using english windows XP, and using mirc to browse the irc channel, all I see is a bunch of symbol : )

control panel->region and language options->advanced: set the "language for non-unicode programs" to "Chinse (PRC)". Also make sure that MIRC is using a font that can display chinese symbals. According to my experience (I use english XP too), the defaut MIRC setting is enough.

BTW, if you cann't find the "Chinse (PRC)" in the list, you can browse any chinese website, for example, "www.sina.com.cn", and IE should automatically inform you to install chinese language package
