I guess it works.
By joining the army, he can save a lot of money for college afterwards, and enjoy the benefits of being involved with military. US will never declare war on China--for it hasn't technically "declared" any war since Vietnam. If there is, by any chance, however slight, that such a conflict does exist, I'll find the best solution for myself...

我觉得当兵一定要是那个国家的公民吧，这里是外国公民的毕竟很少，所以我觉得是不会有的。

偶印象中要入美國軍隊必須是公民 不然最少要有綠卡身份:o:o

well, you gotta be a citizen in order to go to the field training
because of that reason, i am laid off a year from rotc and seeking my citizenship.
hopefully, i will make it on time.
btw, i am joining airforce
