people use null frames to mix video of differenent frame rates (23.97/24/25/29.97/30 fps) together, and the lowest common mutiple(LCM) is 120fps.
It is really meaningless to have 120fps. As 29.97/30fps is enough to represent all the other formats of lower sampling rate.
I don't see there is any difference in muxing subtitle of 120fps video with other sampling rate, however. Vobsub + avisynth/Vdub will do the job.
