今天去看了电影The Day After Tomorrow

The day after tomorrow is the day I go back to work after this long, memorial day weekend. Anyway, the movie is very similar to other nature related sci-fi movies you have seen before. First a few isolated problems were report but were also ignored, then a few bigger ones until the problem evolves into a global scale one. There is also a hardcore scientist who is the one to answer questions like "then what are we suppose to do?" The acting was not bad, mostly due to the fact there wasn't really any acting, so anything can't go wrong. The reason I went to the theatre was because of the computer animated sceneries, which I think it's a good job well done by the special effects team. One thing I want to point out is that the part where hell freezes over in Manhattan (and other places of the world of course) was put in there just to add some thrilling moments to this would-otherwise-be-very-dull movie, otherwise I think it is completely unscientific. Plots are easily predictable, endings came too soon and some dialogues were silly and superficial.

Back to reality, on the way home I noticed the gas price went up a bit from last week, I doubt it's going to stop before reaching $2.50, but I also doubt if it will ever reach three bucks a gallon. The white peaches and nectarines I bought at the Chopper were GOOD, now it's a good time to try some if you haven't this year.

今天看了THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW和HARRY POTTER

两部都不怎么满意。。。THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW剧情不感人，破坏场面也没什么视觉/听觉冲击。蛮失望的T T

HARRY POTTER里说的都是英式英文，好听啊><
