Don’t Look Back In Anger
Close my eyes,
All that come into mind is you standing under the sunshine.
Just couple sentences yet I felt the generous I’ve ever sensed in life,
Which I’ll never be able to tell if it’s real from your heart or just being polite.
By my own will, I choose to become the victim under your gentilesse;
Choose to chase your trail and believe you’ll be the one to save my soul.
I slowly lost myself while chasing the rainbow in your shadow.
All the roads in front of me become winding;
All the things in front of my eyes become smoggy and gradually fading away.
Tears unconsciously dropping from my eyes,
I was waiting for you alone at night and praying that you may eventually keep your words.
It’s cold and chilly outside, and is already dawn of another day.
I guess I can’t wait, and I don’t wanna question why you never turn down my requests yet never turn them into real.
After all the hopes and expects, you’re just my wonder wall;
Someone I will never be able to reach.
Standing in front of the mirror with a face full of tears,
A voice in mind keep saying “he ain’t never gonna burn my heart out”.
I guess I’m gonna start the revolution from my bed;
I guess one can’t always live in fantasy;
And should always draw a line and come back to the reality.
Try to cut through the finger with a blade,
Feeling the bleeding from my vein.
Still can feel some pain.
But even with all the cuts and wounds all over,
I still don’t wanna regret.
I guess I just hate to be upset about things already passed by.
I would accept and gladly taste all the bitter and sweet in heart and mind,
And slowly keep on moving.
I guess I’ll still picture you as generous and kind and like to take a break under the sunshine as always.
Never look back in anger.
The sun will always shine.
I hope you’ll have the same thought,
Live through all the troubles I caused,
And keep down all the beautiful memories.

generous 不是形容词吗？为什么前面加了THE？

since it's just a lil' sth. that i wrote according to my feeling right at that moment, so i didnt pay too much attention on da grammar. and dont want it to sound formal but rather easy and catchy. n wish that maybe someone could catch da feeling inside.
and to say my eng. sounds more like in chinese way. i dont really get it though.:p but even it's true, i feel no surprise either. cuz i am chinese, eh?!:p

when writing lyrics, or in oral eng., if the subject is obvious, sometimes it could be omitted. but when u're writing essay or report, or maybe talking to ur boss or someone that s not so familiar, that doesn't work, and should always be avoided. :p

也能那样写，可是“close my eyes"也没有错- 两个都是能用地。有的地方是写的有一点儿怪，可是读的很好听。对不起我的中文，我是从小在美国长大的，没太学过中文，但是我的英文还过得去。
