Aug 22nd 1pm - Announcement of SEED Destiny cast. Appearance by Akira Ishida (Athrun Zala) and Naomi Shindo (Cagalli Yula Athha) and SEED Destiny promotion will air.

Though it is implied that the Japanese voice actors (seiyuu) Akira Ishida and Naomi Shindoh will return to play the parts of Athrun Zala and Cagalli Yula Atha in Gundam SEED Destiny, they have yet to confirm their roles. On the other hand,Soichiro Hoshi , the voice of Kira Yamato, whose mysterious absence from early Destiny subject matter I addressed in a previous message, has confirmed that he has recorded for Destiny. Although it was still not mentioned how large a role he will play in the sequel. While we're on the subject,Tomokazu Seki , the voice of Yzak, announced at Anime Expo that he had recorded for the new Gundam SEED, so yet another from the original SEED cast will be returning. Now all this hopeless SEED fanboy can ask for is that Kotono Mitsuishi will confirm that she is coming back for Destiny, because Gundam SEED just won't be the same without our favorite bouncy Captain. ^_^
