[紧急求助]一个词的表达方法

如果某种语言程度是2级out of 5级， 应该用哪个词来形容才会不至于给人留下negative的印象？
偶是不想用poor.....觉得还是比poor要好一点....虽然程度确实不好= ="

还有这个词用中文来表达用哪个词比较好？初级？汗～ 这个词听上去也很糟。>.<

i think beginner means little knowledge about that language.......

intermediate....maybe i can use this one......cuz' i don't want to keep it humble...i wanna boast a little bit but not too much to be suspected. = ="
