[新闻]Tokyo University seeks Chinese students due to low birthrate

The state-funded university, one of the best institutions of higher learning in Japan, announced the establishment of the Beijing office last November, the same month a British education magazine listed it as the world's 12th-ranked school.
The Japanese university that is popularly known as Todai failed to be among the top 10 in overall evaluation.
It thus joined other academies such as Hitotsubashi and Kyoto universities in a race to get Chinese students.

Together with India, China has supported the information technology industry of the United States. Some of its students have been described as head and shoulders above other students.
Jin said, "Europe and the United States are the destinations of best Chinese students. Those who wish to go to Japan are second rate students."
文中只是讲了他们的想法，并无什么实际的政策，不知是否会在短期内对应届学生有实际影响。但是总体来说，很难拼的过美国吧，当然啦，如果是“Todai”的话，可能会不太一样。
说实话啊，英国方面对中国，尤其是大陆地区的留学市场真是开发的不错，现在传言不少大学的老师工资10％都是靠大陆学生在付。:rolleyes:
不过日本人倒并非想赚钱的样子。而是苦于生源。
想来也是真的吧。本国的毕业生太弱，造成那些大公司得不辞辛苦去找国际雇员。现在作为其前一环节的大学也感到不妙了。

为啥米偶印象里日本大学里拼命三郎的精神非常恐怖呢？ 相对于偶的专业来说，以前都认为在美国拿的PHD要比日本的容易……

聼日本朋友說日本大學進去很很很很很難,進去之後就好很多了,和這邊相反~
但是像東京大學這麽強的大學不會愁沒強人出拉= =|
(想想北大清華,難進也比其他大學難讀下來吧)

learned something interesting today...anyhow...I'm graduating soon anyway...never knew that Tokyo University needed smart people to fill their enrollment though
