today I borrowed 4 CDs from the library`` KISS millennium collection, Red Hot Chilli Peppers greatest hits, and two Guns n Roses CDs (use ur Illusion pt. 2 and Appetite For Destruction
I started by listening to the KISS millennium collection..
then I came across this song "Hotter Than Hell".. it sound exactly like an variation of the Eric Clapton song "Layla"(I know this song because that's where Layla from NANA BY YAZAWA AI got her name)... the two songs sound different yet has the same guitar rhyme and both contains the word/name "Layla" ...@.@
so I'm just wondering.. who was the original composer/writer of this song?? Eric Clapton or KISS? or neither??

Actually, there is no Layla in latter one's lyrics, you might mistake lady to laylar. The whole lyrics are as follow:

hahaha I guess you're right XD I mistook "lady" for "layla"
but what's up with the same guitar rhyme??!@_@...
they both have repeating "mi so la do la so la" ...... is it only a coincidence??.. o_o

I've to say that's not my proficiency:-P there seems no similarity at all to me. u r really good at it:-) BTW, Eric Clapton is also my favorate.

lol I don't know if me and u are talking about the same Layla song >_O
I ment the rock version that Clapton did when he was in Derek And The Dominos~~~~~not the acoustic version~~><
if you compare the two ~the similarity's kinda obvious >.> I'm not really good at anything either`` lol

I c. maybe what ur talking about is the blues version in the album Layla and other Assorted Love Songs. it's the original version of Layla, but also very relaxed. while hotter than hell is more rock-like.
I think that's all I know about this song. sorry can't help u much. anyway, nice talking with u:-)

I don't mean the style or feeling of the two song~~ I ment that single guitar rhyme... the key's different but I think it's the same notes..
