Tell me how to use AviChop?

I have AviChop v0.2, and I just could not split big avi file into 2 or more small files, all I can produce is the first one.
For example, if original file is 1100 mB, and I want to chop into 680 (for 1 cd) & 420 mB, so far I only can produce the first 680 mB, then stop.
It must be something I don't understand. Can anyone tell me how correct way to use AviChop to chop into 2. Does AviChop have later version? amd where to get it?
