Behind My Sunglasses
It’s a bit early in the morning for me
Sitting on the bench watching everything through my sunglasses
It’s all shining in the morning glory
But not too glaring
It’s all beautiful and soft
I can hardly tell if it’s real or just a fancy
But never mind
Behind my sunglasses I like to stare straight through your eyes
So you’d better be honest
Coz I can see your every blink
And will be able to tear up your every pieces of hiding mind
So why wouldn’t you just be straight up since the first place?
Won’t it be easier to live in a simple life?
Too much white lies would just lead to a much more complicated situations
At least to me, I’d always prefer honest
But never mind
Behind my sunglasses I’d like to close my eyes
And let my mind sails away
If one day I were lost in the desert
I wish I would find my oasis
If one day I were fallen in the sea
I wish I were drowning deep into it
I’d like to recall my crazy days
It’s stupid but they make me shine
But never mind
Some chic say if the sky is falling what would I do?
I’ll never move and never make a sound
Easy come easy go
Just let the time rolling by
And sit still watching everything goes by through my sunglasses
But never mind
Leaning on your shoulder
There’s happiness and secure I’ve ever felt
Thank you for loving me for who I am
I know I can hardly guarantee anything in the future
But at least for now anything else doesn’t matter
Tomorrow is always a brighter day!
