Background:
Many years ago, an author called Doroselumaiya wrote a tragic story about the fight between the fair Prince and the wicked Black Raven before he died.
In the end of the story, Prince broke his heart in order to confine the strength of the Black Raven. But after Doroselumaiya died, his strong volition still remained in the story, and made the story continue…
Characters:
Ahiru(Princess Tutu): A character who is created by Doroselumaiya, can transform to Princess Tutu who is a good ballet dancer by using magic to find the fragments of broken heart for the Prince. But the reality of her is a small duck with a destiny of misfortune, that is, the love between her and the prince Mute cannot be achieved at the denouement. “ After Tutu confesses to Mute, she becomes the spume and then disappeared.” This is the tragic ending of Tutu in the original story.
Mute(Prince): The Prince who lose his heart, although he has a grate reputation in the ballet class, he looks like a doll that dose not have any expressions and emotions. He treats everyone kindly and follows the orders from whatever anyone except after he meets with Tutu. He is protected by Fakia, and controlled by the Black Raven in the second chapter.
Fakia(Knight): A knight that appeared in the story, he helped Prince against the Black Raven, but was killed by the Black Raven finally. He is also a good ballet dancer, but he is not aware that he is the offspring of Doroselumaiya and he has the capability to change the development of the story.
Ru(Princess Kulei): A nice girl who is the NO.1 in the ballet class is regarded as a couple with Mute. She loves Mute very deep so that she accepts the strength of darkness from Black Raven and fights to Tutu who is suspected to occupy Mute on her own thought.
Black Raven: The demon who needs to revive utilizes Ru to gain a heart from a person who has hopes ardently.
Doroselumaiya: The strange writer of this story, everything appeared in the story is administrated by him. His purpose is to make more distress and grief into the story to finish it as a tragedy.
Story:
After Ahiru obtains the magic power from Doroselumaiya, in order to save Prince Mute, Princess Tutu strives to find the fragments of heart. But the fragments of heart Tutu gets are with negative emotions only. She dose not feel frustrated and continue to achieve her mission, although she knows that her love for Mute is disallowed. Ru is afraid of losing Mute, so she implores the power to the Black Raven and then becomes the Princess of darkness called Kulei. She loves Mute more than before, however, she dedicates her soul to the darkness. For the contract between Ru and the Black Raven, Ru has to grabs a heart for the Black Raven after she gets the dark power. The fight between Tutu and Kulei has been developed. With the help of Fakia, Ahiru collects a complete heart for Mute. After Mute recovers his lost ideology, for saving Princess Kulei from the Black Raven, he decides to terminate the life of the Black Raven. Under the control of Doroselumaiya, the end of this story has already been determined. Can the characters change it to the happy ending? It will be shown at the last episode…
Reflection:
This animation relates to the Ballet, the town as the range of this story is also a huge stage for the ballet dancers, all the characters are using Ballet to fight each other, so I don’t feel any violence inside this animation. I feel a little bit grief for the protagonist Tutu, she dedicates a lot for Mute with willingness but gets nothing and changes back to a small duck at the end, although she feels satisfied for the ending.
