I am only an observant for this tournament.
Thanks for the proxy prohibition, I cannot get the code.
I followed almost every new anime on air in Japan.
I am familier with 244 out of 290 characters that qualified for this tournament
(by familier I mean I can write at least 500 words about what these characters are like and what they have done in their respective anime).
I think it is unfair to exclude overseas voters like me.
Talking about bias towards certain animes, I want to ask, do you guys really believe that all of the Japanese voters know the majority of these animes?
Aren't there many random voters just surf in and cast a vote for a name that he/she can recognize?
These being said, if saimoe really want this tournament to be more professional and fair, maybe an entrying test for the potential voters
(like a 5-question quiz about some less well-known characters) should be better than just banning all overseas votes.
