- The upper levels of Britannia regard the special area only as the trap for catching the Black Knights.
- Suzaku mentions that the application for Special administration Area of Japan exceeded 200,000 people. Euphemia thinks it's all due to Suzaku. Suzaku wants to say "Yes, your highness" but Euphemia reminds him that this no longer applies to them.
- Nina has problem with Euphemia's recent decision but seems willing to back her up.
- The Black Knights realise the hopelessness of the situation. Ougi, who clearly has had a one-night stand with Villetta suggests that this might be a clean way for them to break away from the Black Knights.
- Lelouch sees an aristocrat beating up an Eleven and decides to take a stand against him. He Geassed the bodyguard but before he can Geass the aristocrat, Rivalz already steps in between them so he has to close his eyes quickly. Shirley who watches from afar is confused with Lelouch's attitude and decides not to get involved with him.
- Lelouch has conversation with Nanaly and realises that Nanaly likes Euphemia. Lelouch's anger towards Euphemia is apparent at this stage.
- During the opening ceremony, Euphemia was hoping that Zero will come and is relieved when she sees him flying with Gawain.
- Zero demands private conversation with Euphemia and Euphemia agrees. Outside, Suzaku seems capable of sensing C.C nearby.
- Inside, Lelouch gives Euphemia a gun while outside C.C steps out of Gawain, wanting to ask Suzaku something. Before she can do so, however, she keels over in pain. Suzaku who tries to help her ends up getting flashes of Marian and passes out.
- The guards try to touch C.C and gets horrifying visions.
- Inside, Lelouch tries to geass Euphemia so she'll shoot him, making it looks like this was a plan to trap him.
- Lelouch, however, stops his plan when he hears Euphemia plans on returning the rights to the royal throne. Upon finding out that she's doing this for Nanaly's sake, Zero agrees to become her ally.
- Lelouch reveals to Euphemia that he can make anyone do his order. He then gives out an example, for example, if he orders her to kill the Japanese....
- All of a sudden, Lelouch's geass activates on its own. Lelouch does not realise it until Euphemia is fully converted and tells him that she's going to kill Japanese
- Lelouch tries to stop her but it's too late.
- Schneizel reveals that he just wants to use Euphemia to neutralise the Black Knights but is startled when he sees Euphie running out to the podium with a gun and commands those under her order to shoot at the Japanese. She begins to open fire at a man.
- Dalton tries to stop Euphemia but ends up getting shot by her.
- This go out of control. Lelouch's attempt to stop her fails so he decides to run away from the place. He is stopped by Dalton, who thinks it's his mistake but Dalton passes out due to his wound.
- Lelouch informs C.C of what happened, prompting C.C to realise that as she suspected, back then....
- Schneizel is shocked upon seeing the massacre. This is clearly not his plan. The only one who's laughing is his father, the Emperor.
- Lelouch tells the rest of the Black Knights that Euphemia has now become their enemy. Special administration area Japan was a trap to lure them. He orders them to rescue the Japanese and kill Britannians as he tears regretful tears.
