Are Zombies Communists?
僵尸是红色主义者么？

Back in the Sixties, when Night of the Living Dead came out, the major fear in US households was the USSR . The fear that the Reds would drop a bomb on us at any given time was everywhere. The movie "Duck and Cover," was mandatory showing in every school across the US . If you look at the impressions, and ideas that most people had of communists, you will understand zombie movies in another light.
追溯到60年代，当“活死人之夜”刚出来的时候，美国人最大的恐惧来源是苏联。到处都弥漫着红色家伙们随时会把炸弹扔在我们头顶上的恐惧。电影“Duck and Cover”被强制性的在全美国的学校播放。如果你看一看大多数人对红色主义者的印象和看法，你就会对僵尸电影产生全新的理解。
One of the basic ideas of communism is that all people are always on equal ground. In a Red nation no one is superior, no one is inferior. There is no need for Capitalism, no need to try to better yourself, because you can't. All zombies are on a level playing field. With the exception of "Land of the Dead," in which there is a zombie leader. There is no social structure in the guise of a caste system.
红色主义的基本理念之一是人人平等。在红色国家里没有人是上等的，也没有人是下等的。那里没有资本主义存在的价值，没有必要进去行自我提高，因为你不能。所有僵尸都是平等的。除了电影“死之地”外，其中有一个僵尸领袖。僵尸们没有一个类似于种姓制度的社会结构。
Most Americans believed that one of the goals of communism was to spread the belief system all over the world. Communists would stop at nothing to make sure that everyone was assimilated into their belief system. They did not care about your hopes and dreams.
大多数美国人相信红色主义的目标之一是在全世界推广自己的信念。红色主义者们会勇往直前的把所有人都同化到他们的信仰系统中。他们不关心你的期望和梦想。
At the time, communism was continuing to spread at an alarming rate. Zombies also do not care about your hopes and dreams. All they care about is eating. Once the zombie plague starts, it spread at an alarming rate.
在那个时候，红色主义正在以触目惊心的速度扩张着。僵尸们同样不关心你的期望和梦想。它们唯一在意的是吃。一旦僵尸病毒开始，它就会以让人警惕的速度扩散。
Americans saw pictures of Russians on TV. They would see people living if absolute filth. The Russians did not seem to care about the flies buzzing around their heads, or the crust on their faces. Of course this was shown to provoke hatred, but it was not far from the truth. Zombies are the exact same way. We have all seen the bugs crawling around on the zombies, and they did not care about their appearance.
当美国人在电视上看到苏联人的画面。他们看到的是生活在完全污秽之中的人们。那些苏联人对在自己头上盘旋的苍蝇毫不在意，对粘在脸上的面包屑也是。当然，这些画面是激起仇恨的手段，但是和事实相差不远。僵尸也是一样的。我们都见到虫子爬行在僵尸身上，而僵尸们毫不关心自己的形象。
Now back at the time, if you had spoken to someone about a mindless army that was sweeping across a country, assimilating everyone into their way of life, and having no rank to speak of in that army, what do you think they would say? If you found Senator McCarthy and told him that there was a massive group that did not care about the American way of life, and was going to slowly decimate the brains of the populations, what do you think that he would say? If you spoke to President Johnson about a group that would attack out of the darkness, and keep people in their homes out of fear, what would he say? If you told Joe Schmoe on the street about a group that was so dedicated to their cause that the only way to stop them was to shoot them in the head, what would he say? They would all yell, "Commies are coming."
回到那个时代，如果你告诉某人一支没有思维能力的军队扫过一个国家，同化所有人，你认为他会说什么？如果你见到麦卡锡参议员并且告诉他那里有一个毫不关心美国人生活方式的巨大群体，将要慢慢破坏人们的大脑，你认为他会说什么？如果你告诉约翰逊总统有一个群体将要从黑暗中进攻，让人们赶快躲在家里，他会说什么？如果你告诉Joe Schmoe关于一个专注于自己行为的群体，唯一阻止他们的方法是射中他们的头部，他会说什么？他们都会说，“红色分子打过来了。”
