The Lord of The Ring is good book too.
Harry Potter is sorts of for kids, but the story is good.

看看 The Godfather 吧. 还是挺不错的.
Harper Lee的To Kill a Mocking Bird也很好.

请问小王子的英文版哪里有啊??还有英文的译名是什么啊. 多谢大家提供了这么多书名, 不过把作者也写上, 会比较容易找些.

Harry Potter isn't exactly that great. It's simply too easy and simple. The story itself, if you read carefully, is ironic, oxymoronic, and childish. It's intended for KIDS to read anyway.
Lord of the Rings is way better. The book itself is 100 times better than those lackluster movies. The movies simply made it "cool" by making things so fast and deliberately deleted many important parts from the book. One cannot understand what Middle Earth is just by watching movie, you got to read the book.

I wonder, what's considered the most complicated (yet of some great value) work of literture?
I've in my hands some Russian books such as "War and Peace" and "Crime and Punishment", I guess they would be really complicated by some measurement. I'm thinking that my verbal skill would improve if I'm reading compicated books, but I don't want them to be boring or a bunch of nonsense.
