嗯……这一句本来就是两种解释都可以的，不过这么用起来感觉很奇怪就是了。听到她唱It is only the fairytale they believe的时候，俺觉得比较自然的理解是It is only the fairytale... they believe……当然正确的意思还是要问作词的了……

至于语法方面……俺是不太明白的……

汗。。。我的第一反应是It is only the fairy tale which they believe
果然是受语法教育的影响过深。。。

咬文嚼字的过分了。。。

应该是这句翻译
believe in就有些太咬文嚼字了，许多语法并不是那么死的

They believe the fairytale的意思……怎么说呢……语法上来看是没错的……可是用在这里感觉不对头……believe the fairytale是一个动作，believe in the fairytale是一个状态……汗……不知道这么说对不对……I believe the fairytale是说“我相信这个童话”的这个动作，I believe in the fairytale是说“我是相信这个童话的”这个状态……the fairytale they believe就成了“她们相信（动作）的童话”……一种很怪的说法……如果是说一个“她们所相信的童话”就应该是the fairytale they believe in……嗯……不过英文语法具体细节上俺是不清楚的……XD

这歌是唱的12Hime，但是Alyssa唱的啊，而且Alyssa也是个人造Hime，虽然立场不同，情况应该类似，所以我说的观点是适用的。Alyssa在演唱的时候也不会专唱敌人的情况吧，影射自己也很自然。

状态和动作的问题，谢谢大人说明，看来还是believe in合适，这似乎是我这种说法的最大硬伤，只有寄希望于写词者的错误了，毕竟不是native写的。

现在的问题是在于they believe的是the fairy tale，还是说they believe的是it is only the fairy tale……按照俺的理解，这个歌词中they believe的是it is only the fairytale……

那首诗看到了，不过believe a fairy tale到底能不能用？不算错误用法吧？意思上的区别我还是不太理解。。。

是the，抱歉，自己搅糊涂了。。。

从句子结构讲，如果定语从句的话 they believe the fairy tale 这种解释应该是正确的。
不过歌词好像经常不用标准语法结构。如果把It is the fairy tale 和 they believe 看成两句，结果就成了第二种宾语从句的解释：They believe that it is the fairy tale. 语法上我觉得两种都可以。

语义上和iliiad相反，我还是倾向于第一种，就是那些Hime至少相信过fairy tale 的，虽然可能只是渺茫的希望。。。这首歌开始是艾尔莎和深优在一起时很幸福地唱的，最后又在她们死亡的一刻响起，个人以为表现了一种希望的破灭，而不是从始至终的绝望。They believe that it is the fairy tale 实在显得太没幻想太冷静了，和两人临死前的表现也不太相符。

另，iliiad大人是一直在国外？国内的英语教育什么都不好，就是语法教得清楚。。。

那样的话，a fairy tale是they believe 的宾语，意思就是她们相信的传说（神话）。用a而不用the，是因为前文没有明确提到fairy tale吧？因为在歌词正文中是第一次提及，所以不能使用特制对象明确的the。

it 的指代倒显得比较虚，并不一定专指上一句话，前面的歌词好像都可以包括。

“相信一个童话”应该是believe in a fairytale，而不是believe a fairytale……这之间有差别的……

我的理解和你们略有不同，我认为it指的是twelve of them shining bright in vain like flowers that blossom just once in year,they 're dancing in the shadow like whispers of love just dreaming of place where they're free as dove这全部，不知是否说得通，上网时间不长，没办法详细解释了

至于句式，还是认为that they're believe这样比较通顺

不好意思，我加一句。
原句It is only a fairy tale they believe 语法上讲应该算是什么句式？我觉得线搞明白这一点就好说了。

这句话到底是定语从句还是强调句型，又或是倒装句？有语法书吗？

另，fairy tale 可以用believe in 吗？印象中只有faith这样的词才可以用believe in，一般的其他词都是用believe。我英文也不那么好，不是这样也说不定。。。

原来此句……有四种理解方法………………灰恍然大悟中……整理一下～

they believe [that] it is only the/a fairytale = it is only the/a fairytale, they believe，意思是：他们认为那只是个童话 —— 这句……如果是把 they believe 理解成后置的话有些怪怪的……所以无论从全歌意境还是语法上，都觉得不太对头……

it is only the fairytale that they believe (in) 意思是：那只是个他们所相信的童话 —— 灰还是倾向这个翻译……是否一定要加 in，我保留意见……如果语法上说得通，那么意义上就得去再考究一下……

it is only a fairytale that they believe 意思是：那只是个他们去相信的童话（？） —— 这个……我不理解…………

What they believe is only a fairy tale＝it is only a fairytale that they believe，意思是：她们所深信的不过是个童话而已（这个和NCC的翻译是一样的……） —— 和之前说的一样，这个地方用 a ，而不是 the，所以我觉得把这句当作 it 做形式主语的从句不合适……另外，这里要不要加in？

以上，灰还是倾向第二种………………
啊啊～～～复习去了～～～再不复习考试就完蛋了～～～～～
