The ace pilot of the Union. Originally on the MSWΛD (Mobile Suit Warehouse and Development) mobile suit team with the rank of First Lieutenant recently promoted to Captain, he was later transferred to the Anti-Gundam Investigative Squad. Possessing uncanny instincts, he pilots a black custom Union Flag.[3] When fighting the Gundams he exhibits tenacity and skill which makes him fight on par with the Gundam pilots whom he faced off with, despite Gundams being far more technologically advanced than his mobile suit. Although a competent leader capable of leading men in tight maneuvers, his own personal style of fighting is extremely reckless. His signature move is transforming his Flag in midair, usually to dodge incoming fire, a difficult maneuver as the mobile suit was not actually designed to transform when in combat. It has been suggested that he was involved in an incident which cost the life of a superior officer, possibly during the test flight of a Flag. While he ignores any insults in regard to it, he does strive to clear his name in the battlefield. After Howard Mason's death, He was told by Daryl about the compassion Mason held towards the Flag, and in front of his grave Graham swore that he would defeat a Gundam using a Flag. On the same day he intercepted Gundam Throne Eins which was attacking a military factory near his airbase, and he succeeded in cutting off the right arm of Gundam Throne Eins. Johann Trinity, the pilot of Gundam Throne Eins, was taken by total surprise and escapes. Graham suffered damage to his internal organs due to the high-G maneuvers he pulled during this battle, and was shown to be spitting blood out of his mouth.
