I am not really criticizing Plato's Republic, I'm just expressing my view here. I am quite drawn into the classical world these days. After reading Herodotus' Histories, I got a basic understanding of the Persian War. I'm reading Thythucides' The History of Peleponesian War now, and I hope I will gain more valuable information.
