Blitzkrieg Mission Kursk是Blitzkrieg的最新一款资料片，由ACTive开发，ACTive曾开发过Blitzkrieg的另一款资料片：巴巴罗萨。
1943年苏德战场乃至整个欧洲战场的重要转折年，在这一年，从斯大林格勒打击中恢复过来的德军决定予以苏军致命一击，合围并歼灭在库尔斯克突出部囤积的70万苏军，彻底消灭苏联有生力量并重新夺回东线主导权。德军自信满满士气高昂却没有察觉到胜利的天平已经开始向苏联倾斜，在磨磨蹭蹭的浪费了一整个宝贵的春天之后，德军终于在7月4日向好整以暇的苏军发起了进攻，德军主力分别从南北两个方向进攻库尔斯克突出部，一部则从正面佯攻突出部，德军斗志昂扬，自以为胜券在握，却没有想到接下来的战斗会让德国输掉整个东线，原本轻松的狩猎之旅逐渐变成不堪忍受的地狱之行.....
游戏从德军的角度完整的展示了城堡行动（苏联称库尔斯克会战）的全过程。包括让无数军迷津津乐道的普罗霍卡夫坦克大会战，这是人类历史上空前的钢铁碰撞，上千辆坦克在这个弹丸之地肉搏厮杀。满天飞舞的是T34炮塔和破碎的坦克兵尸体，地面上铺满了虎式和四号坦克的残骸，幸存下来的坦克兵则一边在弹坑里寻找掩护，一边用手枪甚至斧头去杀死敌军坦克兵。游戏中通过大尺寸的地图和精心的脚本设计，完整还原了这一激烈战斗，军事游戏玩家一定会大呼过瘾。

对于第三人称冒险游戏，玩家们比较熟悉和喜爱的有《网络奇兵2》(System Shock 2)，《神偷》(Thief)系列，《异域镇魂曲》(Planescape:Torment)，《博德之门》(Baldur's Gate)系列等大作。最近，FunCom游戏公司推出了它的最新续作——《Dreamfall: The Longest Journey》。在前作《The Longest Journey》中，给玩家设置了一个科学和魔法，混乱和秩序的平衡世界，这种平衡打破之后，人类社会再次陷入一个困窘之中，新作主要突出表现在魔法和技能上，为此产品主任Jorgen Tharaldsen也带来了许多新的消息。
　画面效果更加亮眼突出两大不同游戏世界
　和前作相比，画面上变得更加艳丽。Tharaldsen专门显耀了一些以前不曾见到过的新区域，其中包括前作中美丽的主角爱普尔·赖安(April Ryan)，优美的环境中有茂盛的树木，终年白雪皑皑的冬之城。这里的灯光效果或者科学技能非常出众，《Dreamfall》的世界主要是有两部分组成，一部分称作斯塔克(Stark)，它是一个科技世界——发生在未来的400年;另一部分称作阿卡狄亚(Arcadia)，这里是一个魔法世界。和斯塔克相比，阿卡狄亚的世界设计更加离奇出众。实际上，阿卡狄亚是地球上另外一个世界扭曲变形。
　诚然，游戏中的艺术设计是令人惊奇的，它的制作非常接近真实性。斯塔克这个世界具有高超的电脑技术，这里的角色配备有特殊的装备，上面有清晰的斑纹。这里的人工智能也非常优秀，设法将一个病毒感染到具有工程师能力的电脑上。演员配音非常真实，比如Jack Angel和Teddy的声音就和影片里的效果差不多。
　同样地，阿卡狄亚这个世界也将会出现很多奇迹。Tharaldsen快速地介绍了这里最大的城市Marcuria，夜晚街道上有月光照射。这里的建筑结构是很出众的，远处有庞大的城堡，颜色是红色的，看到这里会让人想起美国纽约这座城市。实际上，Marcuria也确实是纽约的一个城市。这里有很多角色，它们都是在这些广大的城堡中进行活动。
　多个不同特色的人物角色
　为了让大家进一步了解这款新游戏，Tharaldsen进行了详细的介绍。比如说，凯恩(Kian)是一个来自阿卡迪亚的剑客，他具有波斯人的风格。十分忠于自己的信念，咋看起来略带反英雄的样子。Tokyo这个地方显示了一个极强的游戏性，它是一个混合了远古和未来派的华丽世界。游戏对话通过数字键来进行，本作有大量复杂的人物对话。其中玩家将会看到50多个不同类型的人物角色，当然了也会有前作中出现过的角色。
　新作为玩家设置了一个更加危险的世界，出现了多个不同特色的人物角色，她们的性格也迥然不同，以前主角爱普尔·赖安是一个的20岁女孩子，和她的父亲加百利(Gabriel)居住在斯塔克，有一天她被卷入一场威胁整个世界安危的危机中。游戏中还有一个关键的人物——爱普尔·赖安。不过在新作中爱普尔·赖安却成了配角，她的形象和前作大不相同，性格上完全改变了，没有一点自我牺牲精神。
　进一步改变了两大主要元素
　很幸运的是，新作加重了两个主要元素。第一个是游戏的控制系统，它的特征是非常完美的。和传统冒险游戏不同的是，这里的动作和分解面变得更加顺心自如。动作上变得简单易操作，游戏界面也做了相当改进，玩家在游戏中几乎看不到任何图标或者菜单，人物或者物品可以互换，这一点可以从主角身上明显看出。游戏界面也可以通过键盘和鼠标来进行，不过目前主要偏向于鼠标控制。
　最后要指出的是，这款游戏的作战系统。和守旧派冒险游戏相比，这里主要是以智能为基础来进行游戏。新作中的作战系统是非常简单的，结合多种因素组合而成。大部分作战中，人物角色都是分阶段进行的。同敌人作战方面，和《灵魂能力 3》(Soul Calibur III)这款游戏非常类似。不过，《Dreamfall: The Longest Journey》已经确定在明年春季上市，欢迎大家到时候即时关注。
